About Me

My name is Miyabi Nuwere, I am a junior at West Springfield High school and a member of the WSHS rifle team. I started shooting at 13 but discovered competitive air rifle at the start of my Junior year and have fully committed to mastering the sport. Since starting, I have progressed from a beginner to a competitive average of 580, with a trajectory that is climbing every month.

Because I entered the sport late, I train with a focus on coachability and technical precision, free from long-standing bad habits. I am seeking an NCAA program where I can contribute my work ethic, academic discipline (3.64 weighted GPA), and rapidly developing skill set to the team. 

I train in the Arlington-Fairfax IWLA Sills Air Range (Centreville, VA), with guidance from my amazing coaches, I hope to follow the many champions developed through the same programs.

I own a Feinwerkbau 800x and a Feinwerkbau 2700 Light Smallbore Rifle. I bought my Capapie Semi-Pro suit used from an old rifle shooter, and had it altered to fit me better.
